| Bio: | MOUNTAIN EXPLORERS: Peter has the "best nose" for finding untracked powder on the four mountains of Aspen from Highlands bowls to Snowmass' Hanging Valley Wall. He is the master of skiing unusual snow conditions and is available for private or group lessons. ALL SKIERS: Peter uses guest-centered and innovative teaching techniques with all types of learners. Every lesson is tailored to your personal needs. Equipment and boot alignment issues are addressed early in the learning process with help from top boot fitters and local ski shops. Peter is an expert at overcoming new skiers' fears and anxieties. Warning: you may become hopelessly addicted to skiing! QUALIFICATIONS: Peter has held the top level of certification (III) in Alpine Skiing from the Professional Ski Instructors of America since 1976 and was an examiner and technical team member in the Northwest during the eighties. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and Recreation from Boston University. Peter is constantly improving his contemporary skiing and teaching skills by taking clinics with some of the top ski instructors and coaches in the world. He has skied with demonstration team members from the USA, Canada, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Italy and Germany. |
