- Best known for: great location in the center of Aspen - Ski down for lunch and shopping. Aspen Mountain, the flagship mountain of the Aspen/Snowmass resort comlex, offers excellent intermediate to expert terrain that includes steep and bump runs.
- Steepest run: Elevator Shaft section of the Silver Queen run - slope angle of 42 degrees
- Types of trails: easiest: 0%, more difficult: 48%, most difficult: 26%, expert: 26%
- Annual snowfall: 300 inches/762 cm
- Snowmaking: 210 acres/85 hectares
- Lifts: 8: 6 primary - 1 gondola (14-minute ride), 1 high-speed quad, 1 high-speed double, 1 quad, 2 doubles; 2 secondary - 1 quad (Little Nell), 1 double (Bell Mountain)

Nastar Racing
NASTAR is the acronym for the National Standard Race and is the largest public recreational grassroots ski racing program in the world. Developed in 1968, NASTAR provides a fun, competitive and easily accessible recreational ski racing program that, through the development of a handicap system, allows skiers of all ages and abilities to compare themselves against their friends, family members and the U.S. Ski Team regardless of when and where they race. Aspen Mountain NASTAR

The course is located on Silver Dip Swing trail (to the skier’s right of Ajax Express lift). The course is open Wednesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- ADULTS: $6 for 2 runs; $10 for the entire day.
- KIDS (12 and under): $4 for 2 runs; $10 for the entire day.
- 7-DAY NASTAR PASS (for adults or kids): $34 - unlimited NASTAR use for a week on all three NASTAR courses - Snowmass, Aspen Mountain
